Okay, still working Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred system. And what a system it is! Wow, I thought level 1 was hard at first, but slowly I was able to master every move. So I'm feeling pretty good about myself, thinking I'm getting leaner, stronger...then I move up to level 2 and realize I am a worm.
I have no upper body strength and she keeps telling me to do a "plank pose" or something like that. It's almost like a push-up position, but the arms are perpendicular to the floor and the shoulders directly over the wrists. It's tough to hold!
But as with level 1, I'm gradually getting better. The only thing I'm not sure I'll ever master is the squat with a V-fly. Number one, I hate squats. And number two, when you combine that with the arms that I don't have it's super tough!
As much as I hate doing it, I feel great afterward. I'll give level two another week and see if I can't bump myself up to level 3!!
