I like to read. Which is a good thing, since I just resolved to read a biography of Walter Cronkite. I made this resolution while watching the remembrance of him that aired in place of 60 Minutes the other night. I kid you not, they could have made that thing two hours longer and I would have sat there riveted. It was altogether too short for my tastes.
What a cool guy he was. I have no real recollection of him hosting the CBS Evening News at the time, but I wish now that I did. It seemed like he earned every bit of the praise he garnered, and then some. So sometime soon, when I find a hole in my reading schedule (I've got a few books stacked in the queue I need to get to already), I need to make Walter a part of that rotation. I doubt I'll be disappointed.
My next resolution is to blog about someone or something that is: A) Not related to the Performance Rights Act, and B) Alive. I seem stuck in a bit of a rut lately. I resolve to do better, or if not better, at least different.
