In my nine years of working for Eliot what I most embrace is the fact that Eliot never demanded your respect. He earned your respect. And he did it with class and grace.
We've lost a great character with great character. He didn't need to be the center of attention, but he was truly the backbone of the radio station. In my experience it's rare to find a person in this industry who is unselfish and not bent on letting you know how important they are. Eliot was that person, that leader that was content in tirelessly getting it done and done extremely well.
Congratulations, Eliot, on a life well led. You deserve to take a bow.
