The Nightshow, 7pm - 12am
Hi. My name is Chris Jackson, and I'm an addict. I've been sober for at least 6 hours.
So I guess I'm supposed to write something about myself. I'd rather not include all the dirty details of my everyday life, but I promise not to sugarcoat it as well.
I come from a very nice trailer park in Aurora, CO. (a suburb of Denver) I later moved to Cedar Rapids with my family and pet rabbits. My first job was at the age of 10, which included armed robbery & extortion. I moved on to buying & selling baseball cards at age 12, and by 14 I was a major distributor of model airplane glue. At 16, I enrolled at Harvard University and a few months later earned my masters in biochemistry technology.
After earning my degree, I went on to oversee grocery bagging operations at Aldi's. I later found my love of drinking & music, which led me to become a D.J. I was spinning at area night clubs & ice cream socials, for several years. After realizing I had a problem with the things I said when drunk, I decided to become a radio personality.
Which brings us to today, where I'm the Evening Personality and Assistant Music Director here at Z102.9. I am also a musician, artist, & certified geinecologist. In my spare time, I produce music in my home studio and work on my culinary skills. I'm hoping to open my own resturaunt that caters to people with food allergies. (being how I'm diagnosed with Celiac Disease) I love music, cognac, blondes, Food Network, Mike & Ike's, and Nirvana.
