This is my HG fragrance! If you don't follow fragrance blogs like I do...that means Holy Grail. In other words, this is the one that has completed my quest for the perfect fragrance. That's no small statement from me--ask anyone who's ever met me!
Bois Des Iles is a stunning, warm, incense-y walk through the woods. It's like having a security blanket with you all day long. I suspect many would say this is a cold weather fragrance, but I don't believe in letting a meteorologist determine my fragrance choice. I choose my fragrance based on how I feel.
Bois (as I have nicknamed it) is only available at Chanel Boutiques, or a few exclusive department stores. I got mine by phone through the Chanel Boutique in Chicago. It's expensive, let's just get that out there right now. But worth every penny I spent. email me if you want more info on this ultimate fragrance find.

If you ask most who know me, they will agree that I have an infatuation with makeup products that borders on obsession. I've tried A LOT of different types, colors and brands of makeup...and when I find something good, I am compelled to pass along my joy.
This week--it's one of my newest loves: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
While I don't like to push people into buying things, I sincerely believe this is THE must have for every makeup bag.
Why?
Because it actually does what it says it does!
In the makeup world, that, in itself is impressive.
I've tried many an "eyeshadow primer" in my day. Most from very reputable (read: expensive) brands. The common denominator with all of them? They don't work. Oh, maybe they give your eyeshadow a slightly different sheen or give a smoother base on which to apply your shadow, but the "no creasing" promises are empty.
But this little powerhouse in the cute purple package? It's a rock star!
I'm not exaggerating when I say my eyeshadow looks virtually the same when I remove it at the end of the day, as it does when I apply it. Nary a crease to be seen...and color stays on and on and on....
If you're sick of creasing, fading and false promises...give Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion a whirl. The $17 tube lasted me several months, and I use it daily.
This product has single-handedly renewed my faith in how good products really can make a difference!
