DESCRIPTION:The Hawkeye Area Down Syndrome Association (HADSA) is having our 7th  annual HADSA Walk on October 6th at the Cedar Rapids Kernels Stadium  (Veteran's Memorial).  Our event will begin at 9 a.m. and end about  12:30. 
This is our biggest event of the year.  The purpose is to raise monies  so that we can provide support\, advocacy\, and education to those  families who have been blessed by Down syndrome.  Last year\, we had  about 1\,000 walkers and expect more this year.  We also raised about  $30\,000! We use that money to provide scholarships\, new family baskets\,  bringing professional speakers\, and more!
