DESCRIPTION:"A Flaughless 5K" - a 5K memorial run/walk in Vinton on Saturday\, October  27\, 2012 at 10 am\, held in behalf of Dan Flaugh\, a life-long Vinton  resident and former US Army soldier who served in Baghdad\, Iraq. The  proceeds from the event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Dan Flaugh joined the US Army and fought over in Iraq. Upon his  return he struggled with PTSD\, depression and survivor's guilt. Last  December Dan had gone missing for a week\, and was found the day after  Christmas. He took his own life. We buried him on New Year's Eve.
