It is that time of year again; COOKIE TIME! This December 15th we’ll hold our 2nd annual Cookie Walk and Howliday Bazaar. We received a lot of positive feedback and suggestions at the last event and we’ve tried to implement all of the ideas this year. This includes a much larger selection of baked goods and better labeling of the items. We’ll have more than 180 dozen cookies\, candies and bars. This year there WILL be fudge.
 
We booked a larger event hall and asked other groups to join us for the fun. This year\, we have NINE non-profit\, animal welfare organizations participating including Animal Resource Foundation\, Animal Welfare Foundation\, SAINT Rescue\, Iowa Humane Alliance\, Last Hope Animal Rescue\, Safe Haven of Iowa County\, Mississippi Valley German Shepherd Dog Rescue\, Safe Journey Rescue and Vinton Friends of the Shelter.
 
We’ll provide plastic gloves and cookie boxes. You pick the “goodies” you want in a “cookie buffet” and pay only $6.00 per pound for the items you select. In addition to the cookie walk\, each organization will have table space to offer goods for fundraising including gift ideas for pets\, pet-lovers and anyone else you need to shop for.
