Hairy French fry legs

Eric’s going on vacation this weekend and offered photos of his hairy French fry legs to Destiny and Clare. Clare approached a machine this morning that was “awe inspiring.” Destiny has been using the snow as an outdoor refrigerator.

The questions on everyone’s mind is who will win the Super Bowl? The Morning Scramble believes they have devised a system to predict the winner of Sunday’s game that’s so doggone crafty, it’s sure to work!

Bone in or bone head?

Clare and Eric are headed to court once again for ‘Jury in a Hurry.’ They can’t agree on the best way to enjoy a game day staple: wings. Clare believes boneless is the way to go and Eric says that’s all wrong. He prefers bone-in wings. Who will win their case?

Eric is convinced there’s paranormal activity at his house. Destiny is upset that her childhood home is up for sale. Clare is afraid she has something wrong with her after her dog sensed some tension.

On Thursday mornings the Morning Scramble likes to spread ‘Good Vibrations’ to put a smile on your face as you inch closer to the weekend. Tomorrow Clare and Eric will get an update from ‘Bridge Under the Bridge’ about a very kind donation they recently received.

Welcome back to the world

Clare saw her grandma in person for the first time in over a year and a half. Eric is fed up with vehicles that don’t have license plates. Destiny thinks she’s seeing ghosts at work.

Movies are a solid entertainment go-to for many parents during the pandemic. It may be good, it may be bad, and it may be downright ugly, but…it’s free.

Clare ruins tailgate foods

The Morning Scramble is ready to put their taste buds to the test again for another ‘Taste It Tuesday!’ Clare is getting ready for the Super Bowl by figuring out how she can lighten-up some of our favorite game day foods. On the menu, we’ll try her “Cauliflower Nachos,” “Fat Free Brownies,” and “Dessert Hummus.” Lord help us.

Random acts of punching

Eric complains about a nice gesture..what’s the opposite of random acts of kindness? Destiny feels like somebody is watching her. Clare got a new water bottle that caused a ruckus at 4:00 this morning.

Morning Scramble Movie Club meets once again. They’ll be discussing the most watched movie of all time: “Titanic.” Clare’s seen it so many times she can quote it, Destiny has seen about half and then fell asleep, and Eric has managed to never see it. They’ll discuss what they thought of it.

On Friday, The Morning Scramble played “Color Brain: Disney Edition.” Eric was able to redeem himself, but Destiny came up the big loser and had to spin the Wheel of Punishment. We’ve added a fun new twist to the wheel and YOU got to decide what her final punishment was. Find out today what the majority voted for: Lego walk or Megan Thee Stallion sing-along?

Missing candy mystery

Eric got down to the bottom of a mystery regarding some missing candy. Destiny needs a one-person trip to get away from her family. Clare has anxiety for not following her dad’s rules.

It’s a ‘Fun and Games Friday’ on The Morning Scramble. After Eric was the big loser on Disney trivia last week, Clare wants to give him the opportunity to redeem himself! Her kids have a game called, “Color Brain: Disney Edition.” It quizzes your memory on all of the color of all the Disney movie characters. If he loses, he’ll have to spin the Wheel of Punishment…again.

The debate that almost ended in a divorce

Eric and Clare are headed back to court for ‘Jury in a Hurry!’ Eric pays his bills as soon as they arrive in the mail. Clare prefers to wait until the due date and hold on to her money for as long as possible. How do you pay your bills?

The Morning Scramble has a new club; it’s like a book club, but instead of books, we watch movies! Morning Scramble Movie Club meets to discuss what our next flick should be.

Facebook has already ruined Eric’s summer

He thinks the invention of Facebook has ruined class reunions, and he’s usually the one who organizes them. Clare has Christmas carols stuck in her head, thanks to her daughters. Destiny is a lottery winner of a whopping $25.

Morning Scramble Movie Club meets once again. This week they’ll be discussing Clare’s movie pick: “Mystic Pizza.” It’s a coming of age story about some friends working at a pizza joint. It’s one of the movies that put Julia Roberts on the map. Destiny claims she’s never heard of Julia Roberts and it’s driving Clare and Eric a little insane. We’ll see what everybody thinks of the movie and see if Julia Roberts finally rings a bell to Destiny.
