TIME BUCKET

We’re a brand new morning show! And just as builders put a cornerstone in buildings to remember when they were erected, we want to forever remember this moment in time. So, we put together a time capsule. But all we could find was an old mop bucket, so it’s our Time Bucket! We’ll open it in one year and fondly recall how the Morning Scramble began.

SSMB RIVALRY WEEK

It was an emotionally charged performance from the Multiple Award Winning Superior Sandwich Marching Band Presented by Which Wich. It’s rivalry week as the Hawks square off against the Cyclones. Plus, this was Director of Bands, Dr. Scott Schulte’s final halftime show!

SSMB: KIRK’S (ALMOST) HISTORIC WIN

The Superior Sandwich Marching Band presented by Which Wich is back for another exciting season! This week the band got things started with a show all about Kirk Ferentz’s (almost) historic win against the Northern Illinois Huskies, making him the winningest coach in school history.

WHAT’S ON THE SCHEDULE

Wednesday, July 15th

7:05 AM: Time to dive into another Momtroversey with The Morning Scramble. It was a rough end to the school year, so are you pushing your kiddos to read more this summer or just letting them be kids and enjoy their time off?

7:35 AM: Eric has a friend who dips potato chips in ketchup. Clare’s husband’s childhood favorite snack was butter on saltine crackers. It’s a Weird Food Wednesday on The Morning Scramble! What strange food combinations do you enjoy?

8:05 AM: Lost Island Waterpark is open in Waterloo this summer—the perfect summer oasis! The Morning Scramble has 4 tickets to send you and your friends, if you win a round of “Lost in the Music.” We’ll give you one word and you need to sing a song with that word in the title. Your next chance to play and win with The Morning Scramble comes tomorrow.

9 AM: Jenny Valliere is the Music Director at Z102.9 and on Wednesdays she gives the Morning Scramble the down-low on all of the brand new music coming to the airwaves of Z102.9! Just after 9 am Jenny shares the 9 O’clock Not Yet Requested.
