Pleasant, Northwest Iowa, Waterloo, and Sioux City each hold their own Polar Plunge.  Participants will jump into West Lake Park Beach in groups of 10 or more. When a “plunger” raises a minimum of $75 in pledges they receive an official long sleeve polar bear T-shirt and admission to the post-plunge party. The more money a plunger raises, the more prizes they receive. Special prizes will be given to: the Polar Bear who raises the most money, the team with the best costume, Polar Bear with the best costume.

Too chicken to take the plunge? No problem! Register as a chicken and raise pledges to receive your chicken T-shirt and incentives, and then watch the plunge! There will be prizes for the “Chicken” that raises the most money.
