Local Events



Join us for some design and build fun as we celebrate Engineers Week (February 17-23)! Learn about different structures in our community, design a brick structure using Intelligence Mini Building Kits, and take them home to repurpose them for even more fun.

This event will be held on February 23rd from 1:00-3:00PM Cost: $5/members; $7/non-members. Classes are best suited for children ages 7 and up, but all ages are welcome. Engineers younger than age 7 should plan to have an adult stay with them.

The Science Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 5pm. Admission during public hours is $3.00. Located at Lindale Mall, the museum has ample parking and is conveniently located between First Avenue and Collins Road.
