Learn about what life was like in a Union Army camp during the Civil War!
The Carl & Mary Koehler History Center welcomes the 24th Iowa Civil War Re-enactors from 10:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, February 9 and Saturday, March 9. You can talk to the re-enactors about camp life, learn about their tools and belongings and even listen to music of the period. Folks of all ages will enjoy the wit and wisdom of these dedicated preservationists of the Civil War era.
There no charge for admission, but a donation to support the mission of The History Center is always gratefully accepted.

The Carl & Mary Koehler History Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is located at 615 First Ave SE in Cedar Rapids. Admission is free, but donations to support the mission of The History Center are encouraged.
