May 4 I-380 Litter CleanUp
Volunteers will meet at Sams’ Club on Blairs Ferry Road and pick up litter along Interstate 380. After the event Sams’ Club is offering a slice of pizza and beverage to all volunteers.
Large Item Collection Event 9am-2pm Residents with their CleanUpCR ticket (found in their utility bill) can drop off large items including furniture, clothing, wood waste, scrap metal and tires (limit 8) at 2250 A St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
May 4-11 Take the City Manager’s 1-Bag Challenge! Litter collection kits are available at every Hy-Vee Food & Drug Store.
AdoptCR – Areas of the City have been designated for groups to adopt throughout the week to plan a special litter collection event with an organization or businesses
May 11 Neighborhood Litter CleanUp
Neighborhoods across the city are picking up litter including: Kenwood Park, Wellington Heights, Lincoln Way, Ellis Harbor, Southwest Area Neighbors, and Cleveland Park
Electronics & Household Hazardous Materials Collection
Residents with their CleanUpCR ticket (found in their utility bill) can drop-off electronics and household hazardous materials at 2250 A St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
