DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. CELEBRATION

On January 17th, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of celebration—hosting an afternoon panel discussion at the African American Museum of Iowa and an evening reception at Coe College. Both events will be held virtually.

  • 1:00 pm: Panel Discussion, African American Museum of Iowa
  • 6:30 pm: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, Sinclair Auditorium, Coe College
    This celebration will include music, reflections, and a keynote address from Pastor Keeyon and Pastor Stephanie Carter of Wellington Heights Community Church. The event will also include the recognition of an adult and student recipient of the Dr Percy and Lileah Harris ‘Who Is My Neighbor’ Award.
