Each “gift” is actually a food item needed to complete each recipe.
Clare opened a jar of peanut butter for Ben’s Aunt Peg’s “Peanut Butter Fudge”; Producer Ben opened Old English cheese spread to make Rosemary Hanson’s “Crabbies”; Dancin’ Eric Hanson opened a can of tomato soup to make Clare’s Aunt Mary’s recipe for “Ham Balls.”
Greetings from the Hollywood Tower of Terrific Yuletide Fun!
Clare participated in a family tradition: Gingerbread Smackdown 2024. She decorated alongside her daughter Cora who created a gruesome snowball fight in the front yard complete with frosting blood. So proud.
Charlotte “The Morning Scramble” Blue was the most adorable Eric!
Amy Friedl entered as a blonde Clare and she had photographic proof of Clare from Halloween.
Producer Ben entered his own lookalike contest, but he lost to Austin! He committed to the Producer Ben lifestyle and wore shorts.
Congrats to Hannah, our winning lookalike Dancin’ Eric Hanson. And Emily, our winning lookalike Clare. They made their own name badges and brought their own microphones!
So many Dancin’ Eric Hansons, Clares, and Producer Bens! Thanks to all of our participants.
Clare enjoyed “Beauty & the Beast” at Theatre Cedar Rapids so much! It was especially fun meeting our favorite characters after the show. Check out Lumiere’s finger nails!!
Dancin’ Eric Hanson experienced his first ever holiday pop up bar in Chicago! Christmas themed food and drink and decorations everywhere!
Trombone Mikey was even bolder and wore baked beans.
The Hawks may have a black out, but Clare and Eric were bold and wore gold.
So many great memories from this season! Who could forget…
We invited all of the people who work in our neighborhood to a live show on the lawn at Z102.9! Area Ambulance, Linn County Community Services, and Liebe Trucking all showed up!
And who could forget when Producer Ben had to leave for his Alaskan Cruise? The band had to play super fast! No time! Faster, band! Faster!
And this season the Hawks got a taste of California sunshine at U.C.L.A. It did not go well…luckily, it looks like we’re headed to a bowl game in Florida.
