Producer Ben made a stop at the casino on Sunday and won! Just not $10,000.

Part of Eric’s visit to Washington to see ‘The Sound of Music’ included a walk down memory lane and looking at old cast photos on the “wall of shows” at the Washington Community Center.

Clare and the fam made it to the Kernels game on Saturday night as part of Poor Poor Nick’s class reunion festivities.

CARJACK A CO-WORKER

Co-worker Shawn not only offered the use of her convertible, she also offered to drive Big Hutch in the parade, AND she bought Ben a cup of coffee. We didn’t need to carjack her at all…just ask. Whoops.

At least he looked the part. If not a little ostentatious.

The ANF boat was spectacular!

The Daybreak Rotary boat MAY have had an engineer on the team. Wow!

Team Z ready to take on the competition: Iowa Women’s Basketball players Taylor McCabe and Hannah Stuelke.

We were so close to winning…but the Z boat sank before it could cross the finish line.

The perfect end to the weekend was a farm to table dinner in Mt. Vernon.

Clare’s weekend was a whirlwind of baking kolaches for the St. Ludmila Kolach Festival. Her big achievement was knocking out 50 trays in one shift. BAM!

The competition was fierce at the Cardboard Boat Regatta! Riverside Casino & Golf Resort and Iowa Women’s Basketball players Taylor McCabe and Hannah Stuelke gifted Clare and Eric autographed life jackets.
