Meet the Crew: Cap’n Ben, Tony Milan, Little Dutch, Big Hutch, and Clutch
Tony Milan began the team building with a word association exercise.
Then he wanted to physically exercise them by running blindfolded with only their partner to guide them.
They wrapped up with a scavenger hunt….because kids love scavenger hunts.
A little bit of paint and the cardboard boat is ready!
It’s the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, so Ben paid tribute.
Look for this boat to be underwater soon–just like SpongeBob!
Congratulations to Eric’s niece Lizzie on her graduation from Liberty! Next up – The University of Iowa for speech pathology (and marching band, of course).
Clare’s Sunday was full of SUN ☀️
Her daughter Cora took the wheel of the boat for a while. She likes to go FAST 🚤💨
Ahoy landlubber!
Cap’n Ben took great care in taping all of the seams so the water doesn’t leak into the boat.
It totally looks like a boat from the front!
…more like a box from the back, but she should be water-tight.
Good Morning Marion!
Mayor Nick Abou-Assaly stopped by to talk about all of the amazing progress in the community.
Coffee Galore! Thanks to Scooters, Uptown Coffee Co., and Trading Grounds Coffee for spoiling the Scramblers!
Eric helped Ben make his own poncho.
Producer Ben has everything he needs: a meat necklace AND we let him keep the knife for protection.
Live bait! Come and get him!
No wolves or bobcats happened by, but Ben grabbed a nibble.
Funko Clare comes with her own bottle of wine!
Funko Eric plays pickleball!
Coolest gift EVER! Thanks Producer Ben!
Way to go Cap’n Ben; your box looks like a boat!
With a couple more coats of paint, she should be sea-worthy.
Veteran’s Memorial Building is ready for Memorial Day, but was kind enough to let the Scramble borrow their space for the morning.
Clare and Eric MAY have overpacked.
Thanks to Karol Shepherd from the Freedom Festival for hosting us indoors!
All it needs is a nose to cut through the water and she should be “sea-worthy.” We’ll find out June 8th at Robin’s Lake!
