Cedar Rapids Prep opened in August 2025 as a tuition-free, public charter school. It currently serves 6th, 7th and 8th grades and plans to add 9th grade soon. Recently, Cedar Rapids Prep purchased a new facility, the former Go Daddy headquarters in Hiawatha for a second campus.
