Non-alcoholic gin is…kinda pointless, but Clare and Eric vowed to give it a try. With the tonic water, it’s mild and muted. But they tried a shot on it’s own and it taste like the bottom of a shoe. Not very juniper-y as regular gin would be.
No one wanted these bar condiments. Pickled Asparagus is fine. The asparagus is tender-crisp, but with a vinegar flavor. Meh.
The Fiery Olives–stuffed with Turkish peppers–were HOT!
Eric’s cheeks were sweating. Clare had to spit her bite out and it burned her lips! Luckily, there were some ice cream bars in the freezer.
Every good bar has some pretzels! But these are bar rejects. Knotty Pretzels in Smoky Cheddar and Hot Wings flavors–both bags were expired–but The Morning Scramble bravely gave them a try. They’re meh. A little stale. The smoky cheddar is heavy on the smoke. And after the fiery olives, the hot wing pretzels had no heat!
