2020 has thrown a lot at us–a global pandemic and hurricane force winds in the middle of Iowa! It’s a lot to process and it’s never been more important to take a moment to talk about mental health. Today is World Suicide Prevention Day and The Morning Scramble checks in with some of the local agencies you can turn to for mental health: CommUnity, Foundation 2, and Make It Ok of Linn County.

Clare’s daughter started school today. She took the typical “what do you want to be when you grow up” first day of school picture. Clare’s daughter wants to be a veterinarian or a race car driver. Destiny tried giving up soda earlier this year, but she finally caved in and accidentally drank three sodas yesterday. She is going to try and cut it back out of her diet, but is afraid she might be in a bad mood this week.
